Or do you think you would usually just grin and bear it?

I wouldnt, simply because a bad smell is not something i consider that major. There are worse things out there so i cant be bothered with trivialities.

I don't see why I wouldn't. Maybe they don't even know and no one will ever tell them. It's such an easy fix that that'd be a shame.

eh used to piss me off when my boss in construction would bitch and say he could smell dog on me, I own a dog. what of it. I understood that complaint more when I worked in a restaurant, and fixed it then, but in construction nah fuck him. he was lucky to have an employee who came in smelling of a dog rather than booze.

I don't no. Could be many reasons as to why they stink. Me telling them they stink won't change anything and they are probably already aware of the fact.

Several times I've been sick because of a really bad smell. One of the times was in hospital when this guys stomach staples burst. It smelled so bad.

If I have to be in close proximity to them, absolutely. If it's just in passing, no.

I used to work with this dude that seriously smelled like shit and piss every single day. After about a week I brought in deodorant and soap and told him to clean himself or I was going to hr.

I have. Once to a friend that I just pointed out that he was kind of musty and he's done the same for me. It's out of respect, you don't want a customer driven off by bad hygiene.

Then there was a smelly ass coworker who tried to tell me how to do my job, so I told him about water and soap.

I used to work with a bloke who never washed his work clothes, he would just spray them with febreze, he started to smell so bad we had to tell him about it, after doing nothing the next few days we informed our manager and he made him go home that night.

Maybe if I didn't respect them.
