I quite enjoyed it for a few years. Went at it like crazy. My mother actually thought I was an alcoholic, but one day I just got bored of the stuff and stopped. Confused the hell out of people.

my dad and brother were alcoholics. was beaten pretty badly by my brother while he was under the influence (either from drugs, alcohol, or both). so I stay away from it

I think what you're referring to is called going on a bender; drinking straight through a set number of days. Others might call it vacation.
