Disney has unvieled its new version of the Mickey Mouse Club, 62 years after the franchise launced the careers of megastars su ch as Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and Canadian Ryan Gosling!

Now in this modern era, the new cast is very DIVERSE as it features a cast of new teens who are multi-diverse with EVERY race!!

The 8 new Mouseketeers whose ages range from 15-18 were unvield today.

15 y/o Sean Oliu, 16 y/o Brianna Mazzola, 17 y/o Leanne Tessa, 17 y/o Will Simmons, 16 y/o Ky Baldwin, 15 y/o Jenna Alvarez, 18 y/o Regan Aliyah and 16 y/o Gabe de Guzman are set to star which will be called Club Mickey Mouse!!

Sean lives in Anaheim who plays several instruments and got his start in music at 7 years old where he learned Spanish and discoveered much about his heritage during a mariachi act.

Brianna is an actor, danger and singer from Phillie who started singing at a young age as she says music is her passions

Leanne is from Granada Hills who is an IMMIGRANT from the Phillipines and came to the US on her own to start her own business as she loves to sing and write music who also dances.

Will is from Fullerton who is a dancer and choreographer and gymnast who grew up watching Disney shows sinc ea young age as he's always wanted to be a "Disney Kid"

Ky from Australia dreamed of being a soccer player until he did tap dancing as he pursues his dream of working as a dancer, songwriter and singer

Jenna from San Diego is the youngest who is a passionate dancer as she's one of the biggest Disney fans ever!

Regan is a rapper, singer and dancer from Los Angeles who enjoys to rap and use her words to pass messages that matter.

Gabe from Los Angeles is a passionate dancer who performed with Katy Perry, Missy Elliot

The new club represents the new faces of America where Disney wanted kids who represent Talent but also the diversity that America that is today. Disney wants to showcase the changing faces of America with diversity and multi-culurism as some of these kids were born from different countries..

I never really understood using race as a stand-in for culture.

Like, there are a ton of cultures way more foreign and exotic than "black American". Slap a Jainist in there next to one of those Ainu bear-worshipers-and-sacrificers, I wanna see them deal with some culture shock!
And just learn about the cultures in general, I mean you know it's edutainment...
