Are the grinding raids as good as it is advertised, though? Random dungeons, random loot, random mobs and bosses, team oriented and challenging? Offers different experiences for the most part?

I haven't played too much, but it actually looks like they've learned some from past mistakes. I lost patience with their lack of vision for the first one. I'm hoping that they stay on track.

Much better graphics than the original, probably because they didn't have to port it to last gen consoles.

After being sold an empty game, and then told to spend more than the price of the original game again in order to get enough content to qualify as an actual video game, nah, I think I'll pass. The people who made Bungie games, Bungie games no longer work there.

im having a lot of fun with the game so far. played like an hour and a half. shooting feels really good. I really missed bungie shooters, they just feel tight.

story so far seems to be typical Bungie garbage where it's just a bunch of vague concepts with very general names starting with "the" (The Traveler / The Arbiter / The Flood / The Light / The Crucible / etc etc etc) strung together (The Guardian must get The Light from The Traveler so you can defeat The Legion). thankfully you can skip all the cutscenes

Same, I think destiny has a great core of gameplay, and a really cool aesthetic, its just one of those games that I really wish the developers simply did better. Because it has no depth, very limited enemy interactions, and a terrible release model.

I was interested in D2 after liking Taken King, but not enough to spend anymore on the game. Plus it being on PC finally. I played in the beta, saw minimal improvements. Saw they already have two $15-20 expansions they are already asking for payment for, nah.

I remember one of the developers being interviewed and they asked him what people should really look forward to and he straight up said "well there's a story this time"

I'll check it out in a few weeks maybe.

I'm kinda glad they didn't. I quit playing after the vault of Glass and I never would have came back if they would have rolled over anything worthwhile and exclusive to any d1 dlcs. Really enjoying it so far, major improvement on the first half
game.
