The problem is that while Will Smith is a good actor, he only ever plays one character: himself. Everything he's been in (or at least everything I've seen him in), all of his characters always act the exact same way. Agent Jay, Hancock, Detective Spooner, Captain Hiller, Deadshot, etc. They all act exactly the same, and Genie is NOT supposed to be like that. Anyway I've already expressed my befuddlement with a topic before on how people can be so okay with Disney remaking their childhood with live action garbage, so there's that to consider. 2016's Jungle Book is the only one that's any good for obvious reasons.
