They have no idea what it is and think it's a program that allows illegal immigrants to work here with free benefits and not having to pay taxes.

I meant it more that whether or not DACA is a good thing or not, it's not exactly the same as an open borders policy. The problem is that any republican who gets primaried against them would paint it as equal to open borders and there'd be no honest debate about the policy between two republicans

Seriously. I have seen criticism from both the right and left lobbed at left-leaning voters for not being as dedicated to the cause as GOP voters. Right-leaning voters seem more likely to vote down party lines every single election.

Yeah. The right has been bending over for Trump everywhere. The left retaliated when Bernie was conspired against and many boycotted Clinton and the DNC..... I think it was about 12% of Sanders supporters went over to Trump because they couldn't support the sleaziness of the DNC.

On the other hand, the Republicans in the senate and the House are all "Let's vote anyone and anything in just because it is Trump. He's a republican, just like us! We can make changes!" .... But you know, some that others call "RINOS" are actually stepping up and saying "You know, our party is getting fucking insane right now. We are here to fight for our people, not to cater to a toddler in his big boy seat" ..... and those leading that have been Murkowski and Collins.... God bless them.

The reason the democrats don't seem to be going against their party is because they need to hold their ground. A government run by one party, being it strictly right or left, is dangerous for the economy and the people. If the democrats just gave in, our country would crumble in a heartbeat. Just like the Republicans if they gave into Obama under everything. They held the Merrick Garland vote in purgatory forever. They aren't so innocent and flexible. McConnell has all of them whipped like cream. They are all drinking turtle juice.
