That way they are never significantly behind. I never really labeled myself to any specific political ideology, I usually look at stuff issue by issue. Now I ask myself the question "Does this make things better or worse overall?" about any kind of political question. As a teacher I probably approach the topic of Education much differently than any other issue. I see the Common Core State Standards as being a good thing and it just really annoys me when people talk about them when they have no idea what they are.
