Yuengling. Maybe not obscure, but I never hear anyone talk about it and it's still not available in a lot of states (including mine). I have to make a run across states to get mine. My favorite beer of all time.

It's the AVGN's backup beer to Rolling Rock. Not a lot of people drink it, but it's well known because of that.

Round here Yuengling is known as Weasel Piss. I'll never understand why people from elsewhere love it so much. It's just generic lager.

Just to be clear, I'm not trying to talk shit on you or anything. But you're far from the first non-Pittsburgher I've heard/read talking about how great Yuengling is and I have never gotten it. It's not a bad beer, it's just a boring beer.

I'd rather have Honey Brown. Yuengling is a neat novelty, and little more.

It's America's oldest brewery and a shitty lackluster beer.

I live in Canada friend. The only reason I know what Yuengling is, is because of James Rolfe.

On tap here it's generally the Canadian beers, Corona, Stella etc.

Also, Mead. I used to have some friends who were viking reenactment guys and they used to get it about once a year. My absolute favorite alcohol. I'm actually considering brewing my own just so I can have a stash year round.

Just tried some tonight, was pretty good. Thanks for the suggestion!
