How do I stop that title bar from showing on my games? Not the notification bar. That's only showing from me trying to take a screenshot.

And it doesn't even show on all games only some. But it covers the top of the game and limits my functionality. Some games I can't even see top toolbars and menus because of it so it makes them unplayable.

What phone. I've never really seen this happen. It's obvious I know but you have tried swiping up/left/right on it correct?

It's a Samsung Galaxy S8. Yeah I've tried swiping left and right on it. I've tried swiping up and down. I've tried long pressing and double trapping, triple tapping. Tapping a billion times lmao. I tried googling but it only brings up programming stuff so I'm not sure what phrase to Google. I also tried to go into the games menu thing that is there when you play but there doesn't seem to be any options that take it away.

I don't think that's what I want. That is for the notification bar and seems to be the bar in your browser. Not a title bar in an application.

The status bar according to them is the notification bar. I said in my op that was only showing because I was trying to take a screenshot. The status/notification bar doesn't show when I play games unless I swipe down on it to make it show or here when it popped up because I was doing the swipe gesture to take a screenshot.

What I'm talking about is that bar that says "CookingMama" on it.

Yeah that's what I figured. No harm no foul. I appreciate you trying to help. That's what I mean. I can't even figure out what to Google. I've tried like 800 different ways to try to Google to resolve the issue but it just brings me to sites for people programming apps.

No it's only in some gaming apps.

I've tried full screening the apps and it doesn't make the title bar go away, unfortunately.

I guess that's a workaround but I'd really just like the stupid bar to go away.

im not sure. I'm thinking that the phones resolution and the game aren't playing nice together

it seems to only happen with games i download that are modded apks. i wonder if it's like a defense mechanism that the company built in with the apk to stop people from being able to play. i'll try the resolution thing though. i'll have to google how to do it because i'm not sure how.

okay, no, that's an issue with whoever made the modded apk. the apk they used wasn't one designed for your phones resolution or whatever gpu it uses

and if you don't know how to change your resolution, you aren't even at max resolution

I assume that's what most Apple products EULA's say.

And they actually screen the apps that go up on the store so she wouldn't be having this problem in the first place

It really just had to do with the way the app was modded. The app from the app store worked fine.
