it goes against the community guidelines. no clue why as i am using my own work and there is nothing offensive or otherwise breaking the rules.

So, I see at the bottom of my removal notice:

The next time you sign in you will be asked to acknowledge this strike on your account.
If you would like to appeal this strike, please submit this form. Our team will thoroughly review your appeal and will contact you again very soon.

So I click on "this form" and nothing happens. I dont want to accept it because I dont know if I can still appeal, but when I click on the "this form" link nothing happens. I even used another browser and disabled adblock to see if thats it and it isnt.

I think this was a mistake. the notice gives no reason why it was taken down(i just uploaded it two hours ago), but i dont know what to do.

I got a copyright strike once.
I uploaded the Nes Castlevania ending and got a note from a record company that I used a song that they owned, but they were nice and allowed me to still use the song as long as they put ads on my video.
So I checked the song and it was two wannabe rappers that used old 8-bit and 16-bit videogame music with some song added on top.
So I wrote them a nice letter saying that Konami owns the song in my clip, and that it was created almost 30 years ago, long before wannabe artists stole it and claimed it as their own.
It didnt even take one hour before they removed the claim.

I still cant get the link to work, so i dunno what to do.

anyways, I find these community guidelines to he hilarious. Like for example:

"Respect copyright. Only upload videos that you made or that you're authorized to use. This means don't upload videos you didn't make, or use content in your videos that someone else owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programs, or videos made by other users, without necessary authorizations. Visit our Copyright Center for more information."

like half of youtube is clips from TV shows and music from bands on record labels uploaded by other people. You see an absolute ton of family guy and simpsons content, but I guess it hasnt been taken down because the video is being played at 1.25 speed and is zoomed in, and they do have that fair usage warning in their description box...

So, I decided to accept the strike because I figured it would be a heck of a lot easier, if unfair. I can still dispute it, and since I can get to the form now, I did.

I assume this was a mistake, because I have 3-4 other videos on my account in the same vein that arent breaking the rules and this one isnt either. Those videos were never flagged.

so lets see how this goes.
