Superiority is a tricky thing to define but I'm rather certain that you don't have very many brushes with it, at least when it comes to online interactions.

If it fails it fails but I'm certain it's not going to have anything to do with your "on the spot" assessment of a situation that you have only passing knowledge of. I get it, it's the internet and we can't instantly know everything about the other posters but when you start talking in broad strokes with what seems like mostly a jaded/cynical outlook it becomes easy to brush off as not actually having any sort of investment in the conversation.

When that happens I tend to think you clearly don't care enough to treat other with respect that I can treat you like a piece of shit and make plenty of assumptions myself. Of course this just continues the cycle and both of us end up writing off the other as "not getting it". To avoid this I want to say I'm sorry for making presumptions about you and would appreciate the same courtesy.

As has been pointed out multiple times there is more to our relationship than what was posted during a drunken emotional ramble. If there wasn't I don't think we would have ended up together. The fact we try to talk about things and decide on the best course of action instead of just cutting each other out of our lives shows at least some maturity in my opinion.

Yawn. You're incredibly lucky she didn't tell you just to fuck off and I am genuinely surprised she didn't. It's not immature to cut someone out of your life who does stuff like you do. It is healthy to not persist in a bad relationship or where one person destroys the trust needed in it - which you broke. Once it's been broken, it is not easy to fix and rarely worth it. It almost always causes issues down the line and pretending otherwise doesn't do either people any good from my own experience of a boyfriend texting other girls in similar fashion.
