You and I both know the rates for rare items/characters/whatever in those games are abysmal, but I guess some people... don't?

I'm revisited the subreddit for Final Fantasy Record keeper today after not playing it since... '15? And came across a topic from the oollllld days of that game, when Sephiroth was released and had a special weapon.

This guy wrote a whole page about how he was CRUSHED because he spent $100 on the Gacha pulls and didn't get what he wanted at the end. And I think he mentioned something about how it was a "stab to the heart," and how the developers betrayed him with their awful, awful rates for special moves. This guy was genuinely suicidal about it. Meanwhile, I'm just cracking up because half of the comments are circlejerking it and saying that the game was unfair and they deserved everything for free from a game they didn't have to spend a dime on.

I look forward to the increase in gambling rehab groups in the coming years. If these people are crying about an item in a game in their phone, and can't wait to see them go to a casino with the hopes of making bank, only to end up $5000 in debt.

Meanwhile, I'm playing Tales of the Rays and continuing to laugh at the people talking about the same thing, like they're the only ones whom RNG hasn't kicked the ass of.

Happens all the time with dokkan battle, people spend so much to get the rarest cards and when they dont they have a right strop about it.

It really isn't. It's the same shit mobile game except with a FF skin on it. Literally nothing good about it.

See, I understand putting a little money into a game. I played FFRK for half a year and put $5 a month on it. And I'll do the same for TotR. I believe in supporting game developers, and I spent enough time in both games that I saved money, considering that I would've spent it on other shit

I have nothing against it... But honestly, I've had no reason to put any money into FE. They've been very generous with orbs, and I've been moderately lucky with my pulls.

I don't have some of the powerhouses like Hector. But I got Ike, recently pulled a 4* Reinhardt. And Delthea has been an absolutely house and destroys everything in her path.
