WOOD Zone...

It's probably a placeholder title that was never replaced because the zone wasn't actually used.

there are a number of unused sanic 2 zones. There is an unused track in the game that was for one of them. The others used the tracks from 2 player mode and included an ice/snow zone and a city called "Genocide City Zone" which was scrapped because of the name, which didn't translate well.

which was scrapped because of the name it had 2 working titles...it would have likely been called Cyber City in the final game but they opted to cut the level overall, not because of the name....Since they had basically completed Act 1 they just used that map and made an Act 3 for metropolis....Apparently a lot of level assets and graphics were created too and they eventually were used for a level in Sonic Spinball... ...
