Remind me again why any topics with sexual content are allowed in the first place when the mods seem to arbitrarily decide to delete some posts and not others out of the thread, all under the banner of being explicit/against the TOU somehow, yet the other posts that they leave are considered ok?
Mods as a rule are inconsistent, that's just a fact of life, but here they really seem to like making work for themselves?

If it doesn't get marked, it's only going to get moderated if a mod happens to stumble upon it, and that's not that common.

Dunno which topics you're talking about. If it has sexual content, it will likely be modded.

Mods can't be everywhere. If posts exist that contain sexual content, report them so they can be reviewed and if found to be moddable, will be deleted.

Also that. You can get away with a lot of sexual content if you aren't explicit about it.

To quote from the TOU:
Offensive Material: ...includes, but is not limited to, using vulgar, profane, or sexually explicit language in reference to race, religion, sexual orientation, culture, ethnicity, disability, nationality, or gender as a means of insult; violent material; using threatening, harassing, defamatory, hate-speech, or libelous language; and posting, requesting, linking to, or otherwise sharing material considered pornographic, obscene, graphic, or hate speech...

That covers a good chunk of posts on PotD and an overwhelmingly large percentage of posts/topics on CE. However, the topics remain and only certain posts are deleted. If it's because they were flagged, sure that's going to get them noticed but a lot of them get modded when far more offensive posts/topics remain.
I'm not looking for leniency, just consistency.

I doubt they look through entire topic threads, they just see the post that's marked and move on.

I also get the feeling some users are petty and mark other users they don't like consistently when they feel it can be modded. I'm pretty sure there was a poll on flagging and stuff there was quite a few who voted that option.
