Right when people walk close to my house, they fucking jaywalk to the sidewalk across the street. Jehovah witnesses, girl scouts, high school fundraising kids, and adult salespeople fucking avoid my house but they go to my adjacent neighbors houses. I mean, I guess I should be glad they're not bothering me but seriously wtf's going on. They used to come to my house several years ago, but now they don't. I just heard the same sales pitch twice from a guy from my upstairs window. My doorbell and door is working fine (I just tested them myself), I literally saw him just go from my left neighbor's house then jaywalk across the street to pass my house then back to the adjacent sidewalk to my right neighbor's house.

Last year, on Halloween, I decided to give candy out for the first time in my life. I have the lights on, some Halloween props on my doorstep to welcome them, and a bunch of candy to give out. But the trick-or-treaters still avoided my house. I could hear their talking outside and literally made eye contact with their parents through my window, but the parents look away and don't even bother nudging their kids away from my house. It was like the kids already knew to avoid my house wtf.

I have no pets (so no "dangerous" dogs barking), no music playing, lights on at night, no signs anywhere near or on my house, the sidewalk in front of my home is relatively clean with barely visible cracks, a couple of small trees but they're not obstructing the sidewalk in any noticeable way, garage door is pretty much always closed because I don't have a car, it smells normal around here, and I live in a boring suburb so my house looks exactly like the others. I am not a sex offender or criminal, not even a speeding ticket. I'm clean af. I have not made any scene with visitors in the past. I'm not a nudist, anyone looking through my windows would see me wearing shorts and a plain t-shirt on a computer. They can't even see the computer screen from outside, just me occasionally. I'm not even a minority race in my neighborhood smh, my skin color is the same as most people here so I doubt it's a racism issue. I don't have any noticeable illness, my hearing is fine so I'm not deaf and yelling without knowing. I don't go outside much and keep to myself. I was about to just post a picture of the front of my house, but that's probably bad idea to share your address online.

Any ideas why this is going on?

I heard he lures stray animals into his house and mixes their blood into his coffee every morning. He has a fridge in his basement that keeps it from spoiling.
