Jen0125 08/15/17 12:24:23 PM #1:	someone keeps calling in a child welfare check to my address even though we don't have any kids at my house the cop last night said the woman who is calling must think she has the right address but obviously doesn't sunday they said they got an anonymous tip a toddler was playing alone in our front yard. i told the cop we've been inside all day and don't have a toddler but the people across the street do so maybe their toddler made their way into our yard. last night the cop said they got a call from a woman saying she wanted a welfare check for her grandchild that lives at our address because she had reason to believe the child was being abused/neglected. but we were like uh no child lives here. they didn't actually check the home or anything though or check our IDs to verify we weren't the parents the woman was talking about so i hope they don't come back. --- http://i.imgur.com/4ihiyS2.jpg "I am not gay! I wouldn't worry about getting swatted, since you already are getting swatted. You need to make a complaint to the police about these calls, before someone calls and says a violent crime is taking place at your home. Someone in my area recently called the cops saying she was in someone's basement being held captive and that he has a gun then hung up. Then she called back saying things like he's coming and then screaming with the connection going dead. The police arrived and ended up shooting the guy that lived there only to find no one else was in that house. The police said he had a knife and they even shot another cop in their rush to shoot this fellow. So you need to not take this lightly. All this is at the very least a waste of your time and the police's time. At the very least the police, if they know this kind of thing is happening, might try to avoid killing you when and if someone calls saying a violent crime is happening where you live. The problem for you is someone can call without giving a name or number and say something bad is happening to your kids you don't have. It is a common practice to allow this to help abused kids. So you need to make a complaint to the police about these anonymous people using the police to Swat you. You need to make a complaint to the police about these calls, before someone calls and says a violent crime is taking place at your home. Someone in my area recently called the cops saying she was in someone's basement being held captive and that he has a gun then hung up. Then she called back saying things like he's coming and then screaming with the connection going dead. The police arrived and ended up shooting the guy that lived there only to find no one else was in that house. The police said he had a knife and they even shot another cop in their rush to shoot this fellow. So you need to not take this lightly. All this is at the very least a waste of your time and the police's time. At the very least the police, if they know this kind of thing is happening, might try to avoid killing you when and if someone calls saying a violent crime is happening where you live. The problem for you is someone can call without giving a name or number and say something bad is happening to your kids you don't have. It is a common practice to allow this to help abused kids.
