They're not the FC versions, they're the mobile versions. Which have already been translated, so our odds are pretty good here.

Hopefully the sprites are scaled correctly in 1 and 2 this time though

They are. 1 and 2 are pretty much identical to the SFC/GBC versions but with new graphics (and for English, a new translation)

3 is heavily based on the SFC version but doesn't have pachisi boards for some reason, and it doesn't have the monster medals and ice cave from the GBC version

Looks like the PS4 version doesn't have the poor sprite scaling of the mobile version for 1 and 2, but the 3DS does.
