Nope.
I went asking about the others and how they relate and I got "It's mostly just references and such" or "You may not understand units [??] but CS and TitS are on different lines".

I got into the game. Started HM because I r be game masochist.

Slightly reminds me of Evolution Worlds in terms of lolbullets, here's a tonk, and the concept of the battle system, but less absurd since no giant fist to punch out tank, just swords vs giant robots. Pretty violent opening. Tanks slaying SPAAGs and then bloody dead guys. But then the Robots look so stupid as to be absurd.

Numbers seem a tad high and there's definitely some mechanics that I have no clue as of yet, and I might have used too much resource for the first fight, but I dunno.

You know I can't remember if I ever made this comparison while I was playing (though I probably did), but I wonder if this is why I liked Laura's design so much. Characters themselves are similar-ish also from what I remember.

I think that's who he's talking about, but I don't think he actually knows the character's name yet. (ie. I don't think the game tells you his name until the next time he shows up)

I don't even remember when you meet him. I think you end up meeting all of the other Thors Academy board members before him. Doesn't help that TC keeps referring to characters by names only he - and a select few - understand the reference of.

First time you meet him is chapter 4 I believe.

What I was alluding to in my post though was that I suspect--at least for this character--that the game itself literally refers to him as "Blonde Haired Man" at this stage. (I don't remember myself however)

Clarification.

Olivert is seen (by the player, not characters) at the end of the Prologue and is indeed titled Blonde-Haired Man, IIRC. He has a few lines there. The cast themselves don't meet him until Chapter 4.
