I didnt get the game when i played it. Id run to different zones just to clash swords and then move to the next area.

IIRC I played the first one in the arcade and 100% beat the game with one quarter simply by knocking every opponent out of the arena.

2 was so fun. Playing through Story mode and unlocking all the characters was great. Or getting pissed off while failing to do it >_>

Those games were badass, I remember the second one some cheap ass character with a gun I had to go up against like what the fuck. The one cowgirl with the magnum that would pop you right when the match begins.

A third one would be cool with blood stains sticking to the floor and walls, getting people's chest sliced open so you can see all of their organs fall out in front of you then you lick the blood like mwahaha.

first game had a boss with a gun also.
also failing the bushido code because you attacked the guy with the gun before the match started seems like a moot point when he has a fucking gun

I went up against the cowgirl in the yellow shirt who would run to the other side of the stage then shoot you to make you lose. If they made a new one the maps would be awesome like imagine a night time scenario in BB3 where you had to glide through tall grass and forest to find your opponent before slicing them.

Loved those games as a kid, even though they were hard as shit at times. I remember getting really sick of the "bushido code" crap eventually, though. I'd side-step to dodge an attack and counter-attack, but the opponent would dash forward and my killing blow would count as a strike in the back. Fucking lame as hell, honestly.

Otherwise fantastic games. My friends and I would play versus tournaments with a best-of-5 matchup style for hours on end.
