Anyone else get that impression?

If you look at his history regarding gay rights, he was largely supportive. Furthermore, he chose a gay billionaire (Peter Thiel) to work with him when he became president. Recently he chose a gay man to become ambassador. Etc.

His doesn't seem to give a shit about trans people, though.

Trump was in favor of gay rights ten years ago, try again.

Even many homosexuals are against trans. There are TERFs (trans excluded Radical Feminists) who think male to female transexuals is just another case of male privilege. In this case them pretending to be female to force lesbians to have sex with them.

There's literally zero comparison to be made here.

Someone being gay does not affect me at all. Even while I'm interacting with them. They don't expect anything out of me. I don't care what they do. I do not have to modify my behavior or my outlook on life in any way to suit a gay person.

Transgenders are completely different. They demand that everyone else change their view to accept what they feel. Their entire cause is based around getting other people to see them as what they want to be. They want me to change how I feel to suit them. Call them the wrong word or pronoun and they lose their flippin' mind.

Which is only because you accept them in the first place. If you were a fundamentalist you'd want to Witness to them or something, because being "gay is morally wrong" and "against natural order" or some sort of bullocks. The goal line is the same for both gays and trans. The difference is how far you are from it for the two camps.

Also you still need to change pronouns when interacting with a homosexual. You don't ask a lesbian if she met any cute guys over the weekend, do you? (Or ask about her husband, etc?)
