The question kind of sounds silly, but a lot of people were not introduced by actual comics. So, how were you introduced?

My first introduction was Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. Which was technically a movie in the theaters at the time.

My grandpa was a religious reader of Archie and Jughead and those were some of the early books I read.

During Death of Superman the relaunch titles were REALLY cool looking to me and Superboy (with the shades and jacket) was my first favorite superhero

I picked up Kingdom Come at a Barnes and Noble one day, read it in its entirety while standing in the store, and I've never stopped reading since.

I used to HATE superheros and comics with a passion as a kid. It wasn't until my brother was born that I started liking them through him, and eventually I bought some comics at a flea market type event. Still remember my first book, Batman: Shadow of the Bat #30, didn't really know what was going on but somehow I loved it and haven't stopped reading since.

For super heroes, the 90ies cartoons definitely.

But I read tons of Sonic the Hedgehog and Transformers comics. Probably woulda read superhero ones too if the 7-11 by my house had them...

Mostly cartoons if I remember watching Batman TAS reruns, as well as Teen Titans and Justice League. Then started watching the movies and playing the video games around the end of middle school/start of high school. And I've only really started reading comics recently

I was introduced by comic anthologies in the 741s at the library. Superman, Batman, even Plastic Man. It was a good time.

You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.

I had read a few comics before, but Spider-man and his Amazing Friends is what sparked my interest. Then at the grocery store I saw a She-Hulk comic with Spider-Man on it, and my fate was sealed.

Edit: Also I remember finding a booklet-sized reprint of Amazing Spider-Man #1 in kindergarden that I either stole or read it until it died. Seeing Spider-Man interact with other characters like the Fantastic Four and She-Hulk really piqued my interest, made me want to know who these characters were.

90s xmen and spidermancartoons

I accidentally voted movies, but 90s cartoons is correct. My brother did have some X-Men comics, but I didn't really read them.

I still don't read comics though, despite all the TV shows and movies I watch.

Probably both movies and tv around the same time.

I got into them mostly around 2000, with the Spider-Man/X-Men movies and tv shows like Static Shock and Teen Titans

So movies for Marvel, tv for DC essentially
