It gets good in the second half but you might fall asleep in the first half. It doesn't feel like any of the other Star Wars movies

I fell asleep for about 3/4ths of the movie. I thought it was pretty solid for the 1/4th I was awake for.

Yeah

It's a good movie but not if you like your movies to be super obvious like TFA or Jurassic World.

I loved it, lots of other people insult it because the characters don't announce their motivations and so you have to pay attention and infer them.

I've just encountered so many people who insult Rogue One for script problems it doesn't have.

Jyn and Cassian have clear character traits and arcs they just express them through actions (or inactions) and people who are used to much more obviousness in their star wars go "these people don't have character traits! Bad writing!"
