This is way less shit than I expected it to be and remembered it being.
Actually better produced than I anticipated, I thought there'd be brickwalled production (and there is, to an extent) but it's not popping around the edges, which is nice. It's not something I'd go out of my way to listen to again, but it's certainly solid for what it is. I listened to it front to back yesterday for the first time in probably 6 years. I remember some of the songs quite well still.

My friend told my about Hybrid Theory before anyone around here knew who Linkin Park was. He was going through a phase where he would listen to the most obscure stuff he could find to see what stuck with him. This just happened to be one he came across. They didn't really click with him but I couldn't get enough of Hybrid Theory.
I remember waiting impatiently for their next album to drop (I think Meteora was next), but by the time it finally did I just wasn't in to LP anymore and I never heard anything from them again other than their singles. I listened to Meteora for the first time last night and it was a very solid album --- Under a cold October sky, I wait I had ice cream with quincy2000a! ... Copied to Clipboard!
