The people at my store have always been friendly and not overly pushy with preorders and the like. Even though I don't shop there as often as I used to, they still know me by name and greet me whenever I go there. I'm always sure to give a glowing review when I buy something there.

It's been years since I've been in there, but I remember the staff being friendly.

back when this town had a gamestop, i remember trying to sell some peripheral there, and the employee was like "we can't take this because you didn't also bring this, this, and this with it, and we can't accept it without those"

and the manager was behind him and went, "uh. what? no, we don't need those."

They can be pushy at times, but a lot of my local ones are crazy laid back and will forget that people are in the store when they start to tell stories which probably shouldn't be mentioned in front of customers.

Haven't actually been to one yet since I got back to Waterloo, but I liked the one in Red Deer until most of the employees left and were replaced with rather rude ones.

I have Amazon Prime so there's really very little reason for me to go there anymore.

I ended up befriending one of the workers and we invited each others to parties. He was super cool, but he got fired because he was promoted to manager over someone else and she set up a scenario where he had to go outside of the store for something and reported him to corporate and I guess it was against policy to leave the store or something.

A while ago yeah, there were some cool guys at mine but the staff rotates every 3 months it seems and I don't go there since a local place opened up.
