I mean I literally just completed the first 2 sidequest but damn this game is good. Haven't even gotten into messing with chips or even started up any major plot but so far it could easily be GotY over Persona 5.

I got no problem with the upskirt, tho I don't go out of my way to see it. I enjoy having something nice to look at while I play. 9S is a dweeb but he doesn't make me cringe.


I have no clue if there's a chip tutorial or not but I just got my body back and all those chips and the sword. Is it worth purchasing every weapon available? I can fish and shoot moose for ez money. Flagged the quest to go to the desert but I think I'm gonna fully explore the city ruins before I bounce.

The better weapons you usually find in chests and sidequests. I would skip the ones in the store for now.

No. What I did first was unlock all the chip slots, then you can get things like auto heal, auto pick up, and stuff so counters slow time just to name a few. Also you can get attack and defense boosts too which is nice.

And the beastsword isn't bad, it's more that it's just not good until it's upgraded.

Because the story wasn't cringe inducing. You make it seem like you've only played a demo, or watched someone play the first 30 minutes.

No the Witcher 3 is a masterpiece. This game just has that "generic anime" vibe with its characters. I haven't completed Nier btw, I played it for a few hours and I still hated it. No need for heated attacks people, I don't criticize every game that people like. I'm just surprised people like the game. It's less about gameplay and more about characterisation, my critique of the game, that is.

I just don't like how they're angsty teens with white hair. Is there an explanation for that in the game? Who made them like that and why? It just seems really cliche.

The thing is, if you actually played the game to full completion, the characterization would make a LOT of sense. The story is actually good in that game.

By only playing for a few hours and giving up, I can understand why you dismissed it. But there is so much more to that game then the first few hours.

It definitely has a slow almost confusing storyline when you first start it. It explains everything as you continue to play it.

I don't have a bias against anime. Quite the opposite actually, I like a lot of anime. I just don't like bad anime and well, the characters feel like bad anime characters.

1st play through of Nier= Balls to the wall Platinum styled action
2nd play through of Nier= Spec Ops The Line with androids

It's okay. I don't like how

-There's no actual combo to do
-Understanding the map and how to get your main quests is confusing at first
-The environment is mostly empty post apocalyptic rubble
-Everybody is a machine or Android. I can't take their feelings seriously if they're all programmed. It's hard to care for androids

Anyway the boss fights and storyline are just crazy and interesting enough to keep my interest so far. But I expected something else

Anyways I'm about 8 hours deep and damn this game gets better. Amusement Park is definitely my favorite part so far, the boss battle there and the sidequest with Romeos and Juliets were awesome. Plus dat music. Got to the point where the hole opens up and we gotta investigate dem aliens, but there are so many new sidequests. Some of them I'm not a fan of, mainly the escort quests, "beat x enemies in 30 seconds", and the racing. Others I enjoy like Jean-Paul, although I do admit I don't like running back and forth to some of the areas. Been spoiled by fast travel.

I think I made a mistake in taking 2B's skirt off >_>. Now it's there out in the open, and I can't take my eyes off it. Like dayum. Prolly gonna get it back on soon.

Self destruct is your friend. It takes her skirt off.

Also, slight Trivia. They animated her ass so much it actually has a lot of polygons, and when it gets wet you see the reflections and drops of water.

Condensation actually takes place on her butt too and you can see it getting dryer as you play.

Also her hips as she walks is pretty well animated.

Isn't that kind of missing the point? I mean, a recurring theme of the games that take place in this universe is that if you create something that thinks for itself it'll go on to develop full blown sentience even if you intentionally try to design them not to.
