I used to try to fully complete every game I played just to be a completionist, but now I move on to another game when I get tired of it. But I usually 100% all Mario platformers and Zelda games. And I enjoyed finishing everything in vanilla Kingdom Hearts 2 and my one and only platinum is from inFamous Second Son.

yea I grew tired of completing every game, so now I fully complete games I love

I've never technically 100%'d anything, but I've "basically" 100%'d a few games
Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix: Neglected all unnecessary gummi stuff due to stupidity, and also was unable to beat Terra. Xenoblade Chronicles: Just a couple of the 5 superbosses I couldn't beat, mainly because I didn't feel like grinding since levels were really the only thing I was missing. As for the topic title - I enjoyed them both, yes. --- Not changing this sig until Pat Benatar is in Super Smash Bros. A few:
Metroid Prime 1, 2, & 3 Beyond Good & Evil Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Batman: Arkham Asylum (Probably the most satisfying to 100%. Required getting pro at the combat and stealth. The combat in particular feels incredible when you get really good at it- the flow is awesome). Maybe not quite 100% but: Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (Perfect rating on all levels with all three main characters. The Persona games were all excellent and not burdensome to 100%. MGSV was fun to 100%. I got the platinum of both Danganronpa games but the platinums were a bit tedious.
