I have tons of books on things like demons and magic, because I'm fascinated with it and the sociological implications, but I've yet to seen any sort of ideology that pans out. I do believe in multiple dimensions and universes, though. I also believe in spiritual stuff. It's simply things we can't prove in a scientific way. That statement alone sounds like a really lame excuse but I like to think not EVERYONE with experiences are liars and/or crazy. For example, the Hugh Everettes Many Worlds interpretation of the wave function collapse, describes a possible model of reality where reality branches out along an infinite span of variables, of which only one version of reality can we at any point belong to. I think a lot of supernatural events are very real but based on misinterpretation.
