A T-Rex didn't just pop out a chicken one day. Evolution is a process. So there should be half dino half bird skeletons right?

I was under the impression that it was some of the later dinosaurs that had feathers.

Shhh, don't use evidence and facts. Clearly God is the only answer. Just smile and nod.

Hint for TC: They're probably somewhere towards the middle.

Do you have a better argument than "most people who do this for a living are probably wrong"?
In fact, how would they be wrong? Can you explain how one could determine whether they are correct or not?

The majority of the evidence points towards birds being descended from late prehistoric dinosaurs. Whether you want to say they "are" dinosaurs or not is just petty quibbling.

Call it what you want, the scientific community that researches dinosaurs agree that birds are modern dinosaurs. I made the comment not to nitpick, but to inform people, because apparently this isn't common knowledge yet. Then others started disagreeing, which is where the quibbling comes in. (Nice word, haven't seen it before)
