I never played the Wii versions of the first two, but the motion controls were great in MP3.

Sometimes I like the motion controls and sometimes I just want to use a proper controller. I think my arm just gets fatigued if I play the Trilogy for a while, which makes me like it less. But having all 3 games on one disc is pretty neat, especially since you can play it at 480p.

If you only haven't played Prime 3, just get Prime 3 if it's cheaper.
The control scheme is annoying on the first 2 games on the Wii version. I really wish they gave it classic controller support. The GCN scheme was more fun imo. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I don't get the appeal of the motion controls. One cool thing you could do with them was separately control your movement and aim and shoot while grappling, which is used in MP3, but nice as that was it wouldn't be useful anywhere in MP1 or MP2. I'd rather have a traditional controller. The motion controls are the best motion controls of any game I've ever played. how is prime 2? my friend said it sucked but he's like the only one i know that played it. i only played the original but i have all 3 of the original versions. been wanting to replay the first and go through with the rest of the trilogy. just wasn't sure if i should play 2 or skip it.

I can't recommend the Trilogy just because of the motion controls. I never liked motion controls, so I'm somewhat bias on the situation. If you dig motion controls, go for the trilogy. If you just want a controller, go for the separate entries.

If you judge controls by their merits, get trilogy.
If you hate motion controls on principle even if they're much better like in the prime games, skip it entirely --- My sister's dog bit a hole in my Super Mario Land cartridge. It still works though - Skye Reynolds 3DS FC: 3239-5612-0115 ... Copied to Clipboard!

Get the trilogy. Its the best game on the Wii to make use of motion controls. It fits perfectly.
And don't skip two. If you skip two you miss out on sanctuary fortress and Quadraxis, the coolest area/boss in the trilogy imo. --- I wouldn't trust this company with making a cheese sandwich, they'd start an additional kickstarter for the mayo-ssjmatthew on Comcept's MN9 ... Copied to Clipboard!
