Now it's on. The best of Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon's history against each other. I've included three live action shows, if you don't like it, too bad. I'm fairly confident these are the best and most memorable of these network's original programming. Which side will be the last one standing?

Courage was okay in my book, people have a nostalgia hard-on for it, so it may end up winning. I've forgotten pretty much everything about it other than a few memorable characters and plots. Also return the slab is the most overrated nightmare fuel instance in the world, shit looked dopey and was never scary.

Going with Courage, which was an incredible cartoon and occasionally featured some really neat nightmare fuel. The two are kinda apples and oranges, though, since it's a comparison of a wholly episodic, more humorous cartoon against a dramatic, more continuity-focused one.

Still voted Avatar, but Courage is one of the few I wouldn't mind it losing to. Great show, very unique.

I even remember the Courage shorts from the What a Cartoon show. It was, and still is a great show. I watched Avatar for the first time a little over a year ago. Have to say its quite a bit better.

I still prefer Avatar by a huge margin, though I enjoyed Courage too.
