Managing Humans by Michael Lopp

It's a great book about being on both sides of a manager position, specifically in IT/engineering, but it can easily be applied to other fields.

I don't know what genres you enjoy, but if you like nonfiction, I highly recommend Live from New York. Fantastically edited oral account from hundreds of people on the history of Saturday Night Live.

I also recommend All the President's Men by Bob Woodward. It's particularly appropriate to read in the current political climate.

If you like fiction, I could recommend to if you're interested.

I've read Rothfuss and enjoy him a lot! Waiting for that third book.
I've read a ton of fantasy & whatnot. HP and Dresden files: I'm all caught up on.

Prof turned me on to Worm and I've been working on that.

I love fiction. Doesn't have to be fantasy or sci-fi. I'll definitely put that nonfiction on my list. I've been reading a lot more of it lately, especially in my education classes.

Play about a middle aged woman in 1800s and her marriage and shit happens.

A Visit From the Goon Squad - Jennifer Egan
Interconnected stories about a bunch of characters that come together and tells you about all this shit that happens over many years.


i like going into things relatively blind so i gave some generic reductive descriptions even about the "obvious shit" that you may have already read/heard of.
