It's easier for men to get stuff like high ranking corporate jobs, social respect, etc. etc.

Women get lighter sentences for equal crimes, will get custody of kids in 99% of cases unless they are a raging heroin addict, can basically ruin a man's entire life with a false accusation of rape, etc. etc.

What Men have it harder in:
* Generally being the one to have to be confident enough to start relationship (assuming straight) or work harder/take charge in (unless theyre an asshole)
* Similarly, it's a lot harder for just looks alone to get a partner, need to have built up confidence and such.
* Gender roled into heavy lifting or having to be the Worker of the family

What Women have it harder in:
* Gender roled into doing house work and taking care of the kids
* Harder to ejaculate
* Possibly slight bias against in terms of pay/getting hired
* Publicly admitting to having sex (especially with multiple people) has much more of a negative connotation for them
* Has to deal with pregnancy and birth stuff

Confident, funny, guys can still succeed with women despite being fat and stupid. I don't think the pursuit of romance is necessarily harder on one gender than the other. Hell, it might be easier for men nowadays since men have more opportunity than ever before to play the field without committing.

imo it balances towards women overall since being farmed out and handled for sex appeal during the 2-3 years of your peak marketability and being constantly hounded and abused due to beauty being seen as a general sign of consent is just such a massive advantage
