What are some ways you could have the games play off each other? Like events in one affecting the other. Not saying it's a good idea but just as a brainstorming exercise.

I once had this idea to have two alternating games spliced in with each other. It was 24 hour days/24 hour nights, but once one game went into night the other game went into day. Eventually the two games would merge at a certain point when the total playerlist reached a certain size. Both of the two games would be balanced individually, but the balance of the final merged game would depend on how those two first games went (the two mafia fractions would join, all townies become one big ol' group of townies).

I scrapped this ultimately because it was "crazy" and sounded like "a tremendous headache".

I think in suprak's idea it'd be neat to have the initial two games hidden from the people in the opposite game so that it was all "he said she said" once the games merged and players weren't able to actually view prior days from the other game.

That could be fun. It might be hard to stop players from just linking back to the older game though.

I had the opposite idea where the two games took place in the same topic basically. That way people could read and respond the other game but not directly influence it. Like I said though, a little of planning made it clear this was going to be a huge headache to host.

So, I was hoping to get some feedback on start/end times. I drive home and am busy from about 7:30 until 10:30 EST. Would you prefer the start/end times to be early (like 7 EST) or late (like 11 EST).

Also, I am not 100% sure how busy Lolo is during those times, so I was wondering if any HERO out there would like to help me with votals during the times I am unavailable.
