What you want to do is get melee kills because they extend your time for each kill. If you enjoyed RE4 obviously the rest of the series. Makes Saddler a lot easier as well if you have issues with beating him on professional --- I think I need a drink. And if I remember right you'll be using your hookshot in the battle. So you're not really going in for close kills. At least from memory.
