okay this game is getting legit scary now

Ironically the game gets extremely unscary and basically turns into uncharted pretty soon for the remainder of the game

is it like re5 where it just turns into an action movie

Yeah, that boss looked annoying as fuck. Quicktime events everywhere, ew. Just blew the rocket on him.

I usually use the free rocket lawnchair for one specific purpose everyone forgot:

The room where Ashley gets kidnapped by the Novistador (Acid-vomiting flies).

Shoot the nest hanging from the ceiling with a rocket.

SO MANY EYES.

Easily nets you enough money to cover another lawnchair and more, especially if you fill the Butterfly Mask.

I'm now remembering when a buddy and I were doing a no-merchant run, the first time you encounter the Novistadors... By some miracle we made it through the sewer/prison area without getting hit a single time.

The island is where things ramp up for that run, I can't remember where we called it quits but it wasn't because it got too hard, he just had to leave. Wasn't gonna finish the run without him tho.

When I shoot enemies below the knee, they just fall over and I can't suplex them. What am I doing wrong?

It's sorta random but a knee shot has a chance to make the target flinch, kneel down before rising, simply fall over on thier back, or fall over if they are running.

The mercenary ganados I believe prompt you to suplex them if you are close enough

It's just style. Krauser uses a big-ass knife and you're introduced to him in a QTE knife fight. Having such a large multiplier on the knife means you're encouraged to use it.

This is pretty much why I tried using the knife on him to begin with. All the QTEs were knife fights, so I thought I'd challenge myself to beat him using the knife. Was shocked when I saw how enormous the damage was.
