unless i'm mistaken it outclasses red9 in literally everything aside of animations

kinda miss the regular rifle because those animations were fucking sick but now i have the broken butterfly so that's like 3 rifles right there

The Red9 is the best.

BT is better in firing and reload speed, ammo capacity, and inventory size.

The Red9 is more powerful, more accurate, and it's really not that much slower.

In fact, I'm pretty sure it's even stronger in the PS2 version with the exclusive.

Handgun ammo should never be an issue if you do this one cool trick:

- Buy TMP
- Use one shot from it exactly like you would a handgun round to trigger the stagger animation
- Kick enemy
- Knife

You'll never want for ammo again,and if when you amass a large pile of TMP bullets you can use it on tough fights.


Up to you at that point whether you keep a handgun.

Unless I'm mistaken, BT had 1.8 firepower when Red9 had 1.7, both upgraded once. May be wrong on that.

Speaking of the PS2 version, graphics comparisons have made me aware of how washed-out the game looks compared to the Gamecube version. Lighting in particular is absolutely awful compared to the GC version, not to mention significantly better models and textures.

Red9 definitely ends up with the most firepower, no debate.

It's either 5.0 or 7.5, can't remember off-hand.

Checked the wiki. On the PS2 version, the Red9 ends up at 6.5 firepower while the Blacktail is 5 firepower.

That chainsaw noise was going on the entire time I was sniping the other enemies overlooking the maze. Whether intentional or unintentional, that gave me an intense sense of dread.

On my pro mode run, I was doing very well ammo wise. I had enough ammo for 4-5 reloads on every gun I had except BButterfly.

After I beat a certain Chapter 5 boss, I was left with about 50 rounds across all my guns and no BB ammo.

I was pissed.

Yeah there are two bosses that are huge bullet sponges towards the end of the game if you go about defeating them with standard firepower.

Also, the knife is my jam for the village and its environs. I also tend to use the fully upgraded starter pistol for the 5x headshot damage, that godly shotty for its ridiculous ammo capacity, and the BAR.

Tactical vest is worth it. I wanna say that without it, enemies deal around 4-7 bars per hit for thing you may normally get hit by (hatchets, arrows, etc) the newer weapons might f you up.
