Best current example of this is with Prof. Charles Murray and his data that show there are intelligence differences between races. This topic can't even be discussed without liberals losing their shit.

Ah yes, the studies that were done on behalf of the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think-tank that was aggressively against Affirmative Action in the 90s, which is when the studies were published.
And then you can look at much older work by Charles Murray, it seems he was always sort of obsessed with Eugenics and had a history of pushing poorly constructed studies in the past.

His book studied two cities for over a decade. A good neighborhood called Belmont and a bad one called Fishtown in Philadelphia. The point he wanted to make is that Belmont will only improve and Fishtown will only get worse because the nature of each group will never change.
While he never mentions it in the book, Fishtown became one of the fanciest and most gentrified neighborhoods in Philadelphia and the natives have since become much wealthier when their homes exploded in value. It's obvious this ruined his whole thesis. However, he covers this up by claiming that "Belmont" and "Fishtown" were just his short-hand terms for a composite of neighborhoods across the country with certain demographics that he chose when he began the study.
These are the clowns that wrote "The Bell Curve". A Eugenics nutcase and an embarrassing excuse for a researcher.

Let's also not forget that IQ tests have always been biased towards upper-class white males, where each step away from that ideal the lower your score. It's a terrible way to judge intelligence.

But yeah, this counts as "liberals lose their shit"

It is biological, or, at the very least, it has biological indicators. You can tell a person's race/ethnicity from a DNA test. Certain races and ethnicities are also more susceptible to certain diseases (e.g. sickle cell).

Of course they are. People in this topic (and the liberals who get so upset about this) think that every race has equal intelligence, and that any aggregate differences in test scores are the result of some other factor. Some go as far as to say that even researching this topic is racist (multiple people said this to me the last time we discussed this topic).

I'm not really sure why anyone would take it as a given that every racial and ethnic group should have equal intelligence, when we don't really see this in any other species (e.g. look at the intelligence variations among dog breeds). Now, there is admittedly much less genetic diversity among humans than among species like dogs, but I don't see any reason people should be huffy about this topic or so surefire that race has nothing to do with intelligence.

They don't make up the problem -- global warming is definitely a problem. But they fall prey to the same problem most liberals do, which is thinking they need to exaggerate something for dramatic effect even when they're in the right. So, we have stuff like this, where scientists get caught manipulating the data to make the problem seem more alarming:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-4192182/World-leaders-duped-manipulated-global-warming-data.html

Why do that? Because the more urgent the problem, the easier to is to get people emotional and raise large sums of money for research.

This is true too, though liberals are still better on this because the response is generally something like "Why are you so interested in proving that certain races are smarter?" which isn't an outright denial of scientific fact like what conservatives do by denying climate science/evolution/etc. Also, denying climate science is has a far bigger impact and is pretty evil

Biologically speaking race is a trait, or rather a general collection of traits, which is why you can ID it based on DNA testing. In reality judging anything else, such as intelligence, based on something like skin color is as valid as judging intelligence based on the width of people's toenails. There has to be a genetic basis for traits to be connected, as in the same genes would have to somehow contribute to skin pigment and to intelligence and do so significantly for there to be a valid connection. We would have heard about it if it had been found.

Gender and sex are not the same thing. Gender is a social construct that begins before a baby is born. There is a reason gender roles evolve over time and are not the same in every culture. Sex is more complex than male and female even on a purely genetic level. It isn't as simple as penis = male, vagina = female. Some have both sex organs or parts of both. Some have genes or parts of genes for both. Genes get messy because nature is messy. Humans like to categorize things into neat boxes because it helps us understand them, but that isn't how the world works. That's a good thing because none of us would be here if nature was orderly.

This is what science says on these subjects in a nutshell. When you try to say otherwise it reveals that you haven't actually had a science education. A lot of people get way too worked up over some shit that should just be very interesting and cool if you'd stop trying to assign deeper meaning to it all.

Okay, the stuff that is applicable or explains things (such as chemistry, physics, and biology) not only serve a purpose but I find some of it interesting.

It's the theoretical garbage that really pisses me off, and that's where it segways from a knowleadgable field of study into a political platform. This whole "science vs religion" has been going on forever. Imagine the billions that they've spent classifying and reclassifying things just so they could stroke their egos and declare that Pluto was no longer a planet? Trying to disprove God, whether through theoretical astrological nonsense or that evolution spiel.

The target is kids and the goal is to stamp out religion. Christianity in specific, because it is science's biggest enemy: the one thing that science could never disprove, never classify or explain, never claim as their own. They hate Christianity because they fear it.

Why would people be afraid of goofy, outlandish myths that are deliberately designed to be unprovable and beyond the realm of understanding? Religion isn't a weapon to being down science. It's a clever circumvention of it designed to control and/or comfort people. It makes the world simple and complicated at the same time? Why X? Because magical being beyond comprehension wanted it. Fortunately, the world is slowly growing out of religion. One millennia at a time.
