I think technically the older person could still be charged with statutory rape and convicted, the bouncer/bartender would be charged/fined with alcohol violations, and the minor would either get off without anything or just be charged with forgery for the fake ID. Because the legal system can be stupid about things that involve sex, alcohol, and minors...and in this case, all 3 things are involved! Obviously I'm speculating, but I remember reading stories of people that had been lied to and then convicted of statutory rape because of such things, because they essentially didn't card the minor properly, even though the minor had lied about their age and looked like an adult. But does that make someone a pedophile? Legally, probably, but it's not an open and shut case. Because the legal system can be stupid about things that involve sex, alcohol, and minors...and in this case, all 3 things are involved! Obviously I'm speculating, but I remember reading stories of people that had been lied to and then convicted of statutory rape because of such things, because they essentially didn't card the minor properly, even though the minor had lied about their age and looked like an adult. But does that make someone a pedophile? Legally, probably, but it's not an open and shut case.
