Rivers in the Desert sounded pretty nice when I first heard it but when the vocals kicked in OH MAN I lost my shit.

Life Will Change is close behind though (vocal version is way better, you guys are crazy). Or it might even be Beneath the Mask because it's just so good.

I think Reach of to the Truth is the worst regular battle theme throughout P3-5. Make History = Last Surprise > Mass Destruction > Reach out to the Truth

As for the topic at hand, Rivers in the Desert. It takes a while to grow on you, but once it does it's great. I prefer the instrumental version of Life Will Change.

It's a spinoff, but Light the Fire up in the night is a legit contender for best regular Persona battle music

The top 3 are the best for sure, so I have no complaints. The vocal tracks for this game are very good in general though.

Now I just have to ponder Rivers in the Desert vs Heaven for best vocal track in the series.

The Stars and Us is the ending theme right? I didn't think it was quite as good as Memories of You and Never More

Haven't gotten to Stars and Us or Rivers in the Desert yet, but I'd go with The Whims of Fate. Last Surprise and Life Will Change would fight for 2nd.
