Just finished the latest episode. This show has been great so far. Like I have been loving it a lot. And goku saying "what have you done to my bulma?!" In vegetas voice was awesome.

Yes, and I feel it's pretty mediocre and not really exciting considering I've already watched Battle of the Gods.

Battle of the gods was awesome, and even knowing what was going to happen I still loved this. Super excited for the next episode to see where it goes next

The fight was just drawn out too long, the arc with the battle shattering the universe was unnecessary and everyone panicking about a threat (we get it, they're that strong) we know is eventually going to be a non-issue, and a good chunk of the episodes consisted of showing the viewers people who were also watching and being amazed by the fight. It's just one battle and everyone except Kakarot is useless in combat. It's just a long three-episode battle that was better done in the movie.

Pretty much this. But Dragonball Z was drawn out like this too so I shouldn't really expect much different.

I am. I marathoned all of DB and DBZ last year, but I've watched none of the DB movies before. I think I'll have to do that this summer.

Buu wasn't as good as Frieza or Cell but it was still decent. Introduced gotenks, gogeta, and ss3, all awesome.

And super is fun so far

i already saw the movies sub/dub and watched it in the anime subbed. it's going to be a looooong time before i watch them again in dub. really wish they didn't waste so many episodes doing a crappy retelling of the movies.

I saw nothing wrong with the buu saga every thing after that was just uneeded
dragon ball GT wasn't bad it just wasn't worth watching every week or whatever

dragon ball is almost a completely different show entirely

I'm keeping up with the sub but still watch the dub, well, more like it's on, and I vaguely pay attention to it, just to hear how they're doing certain scenes dubbed, I won't really be interested until we hit U6. vs. U7, Got a long way to go though, freaking Movie recaps....

Well I think the first saga just ended, so if you're going to jump in now might be the best time.

It's rough only getting one per week

At least as a kid it was Monday through Friday after school. Although it took goku more than a week to make a spirit bomb, so I guess it's a fair trade off

I've just been watching it subbed cause I'm too impatient to wait for dubbed. Yeah, read the OP, but I'm commenting anyway and you can't stop me!

So far, the only fights I've found that interesting were those with Hit. No one else has presented anything interesting and new... or at least rarely seen.

I think whis and beerus are very enjoyable characters, and I love how they have treated everybody else and given them great personalities

I am, as I like the English voices for the dragon ball anime. Thought the first two arcs aren't going to be terribly exciting since we've already all seen Battle of Gods and Resurrection F.

I'm waiting for it to be past Battle of the Gods stuff first, I already saw that and don't feel like watching a slightly different version play out.

Dragon ball z is depressingly terrible.

They haven't kept up with the times at all. Just about every battle shounen has more exciting and better animated fights.

I tried to watch but as soon as Goku became a SSG I lost interest does it get better? It felt like a whole episode was dedicated to eating food on the cruise ship.

and the original dragon ball

everything else.... is filler.
