Well, the refractory period is the direct reason you and all of us are alive right now. When a hormone is released it shoots NT's or chemical messengers for a specific action. Something hurt your body? Your body sends NT's and You will feel pain.. Everything is a message. The refractory period does not allow us to go backwards. Everything in life falls back to negaitve feedback. Imagine if something went wrong and our bodies made positive feedback when it should ahve been negative feedback. Imagine putting ice on a small burn injury; and your pain becomes bigger instead of smaller. Your body is out of tune with its nervous system. Refractory period makes it so when a signal is signaled, it cannot trace back instead it has to move forward, otherwise sometimes you'd never receive the chem. messengers. You wouldnt feel pain when you need to, wouldnt sweat when you need to... You would actually just die. You're a loser. You can't beat the refractory period because you're weak, you republican.
