Most of them.
Scenes where rangers from different sentais appear (like the White Ranger in Mighty Morphins) aren't stock.

Yeah depends on the scene really. Nearly everything to do with the Zords is stock footage, and anything clearly using the villains from the sentai. Sometimes Saban will cast new actors for the same humanoid characters and splice them in. Lightspeed Rescue is a good example with Vypra.

For MMPR seasons 2 and 3 all the morphed footage (aside from some moments when Tommy is alone) is American.

Even the later half of season 1 and first few episodes of season 2 have original footage filmed in Japan which is exclusive to Power Rangers and never appeared in Zyuranger.

Turbo for example you take Elgar who looks more tame in comparison to his sentai counterpart Zelmoda who looks alot more menacing. There are times the Zelmoda head was used for Elgar's fight scenes. Looks closely and you can notice the change.

Goldar being reused and not fixed was also silly. Plus Rito was just a Skeleton guy who just made hand gestures when talking.

The more you watch the older series the more you can point out when and where things kind of changed. Or how bad some of the actors were. Also, when they were replaced by Child actors.. By gawd, did those kids completely no-sell their roles. They sold the parts like when your aunt gives you a sweater you didn't want for Christmas.

Yeah I'm watching the entire series from the beginning. They just got the thunderzords. I was just noticing it was the first time I saw them morphed without their helmets

So even series like light speed rescue use stock footage? 8 thought it was just mmpr

Every series uses stock footage, but Mighty Morphin used it the most by far. The show was held together with duct tape and misplaced dreams for season 2 and 3.

Yeah things change up around episode 13 of season 2 as they start using the footage and monsters from Dairanger.

Sometimes you see some really stupid editing moments. The episode with Lipsyncher for example shows Jason as Red Ranger (with the badly dubbed voiceover) clearly in a lush park on a Summer day facing off against Lipsyncher who is clearly in a different area in what looks like a gloomy Autumn day.

In the same episode we see Purse Head in completely original American footage. The monster's Dairanger counterpart had a much bigger role in his episode with many features missing from his Power Rangers appearance.

but yeah all the series use stock footage.

A friend of mine pointed out how back then the Original Japan version was also much more different and often a bit hardcore. Plus, it made more sense for them to be warriors and just random kids. Not to mention they went around looking like a Soccer Team in the Japanese one.

I still never got the whole point of them hiding their identities though. It's not like the military would do anything if they found out. Sense the military pretty much never showed up at all.

That's some Candle Cove bullshit right there.

Maybe it's just a common thing with super heroes to have secret identities?

Looking back Zordon wanted them to have normal lives outside of what they were doing to protect Earth. If everyone knew who they were it would be very different.

Many of the sentai teams looked like they were made by the government or some kind of security branch so it didn't seem necessary to hide them.

Lightspeed Rescue were the first Earth made powers, and they morphed in view of the public in the first episode. The Silver Guardians from Time Force were the next to have known rangers among their group with Wes and Eric.
