Board 8 > Skyrim or Diablo 3?

Which should I buy? I had skyrim on 360, but the disk broke. My favorite 360 game. Put like 50hrs in it. I have never played a diablo game. Saw some videos. \

D3 and Skyrim are both good games. I'd pick Skyrim I guess.

It is run by Blizzard, yes.

It requires always online, which isn't a problem for most people. And except for the opening week there really haven't been any server issues.

It has, but does not require the use of, a real money auction house. You could use your gold to buy money from other people and never spend a dime. You could also SELL your items to other people for real money without spending a dime. I've made 40 bucks by selling people bits of information that I found on the ground.


But, and this is the most important thing, Diablo 3 is a FUN game. I don't play it because it's "something to do". I play it because I enjoy playing it. I have my Wizard that I've spent over 200 hours on now (and totally kick ass with) and it's just a blast to try and experience everything the game has to offer. Recently I've begun to level my Barbarian and I'm having absurd amounts of giddy fun playing my barb.

As long as you know how Diablo games work (you beat the game repeatedly on different difficulty levels) then you will find Diablo 3 to be very well polished game.



Skyrim is also an amazing game, so feel free to pick it, just don't listen to the D3 hate. It's a load of rubbish.

ok i went ahead and bought skyrim. The connection thing will probably screw me over sooner or later is why ;(
