tl;dr version: Guy's dog has a ruptured disk, they don't have any money to pay for the expensive surgery, will have to put the dog down if it continues.

I don't even know the guy personally (saw the topic on LL) but the story touched me so yeah, just wanted to spread it in case anyone else felt the same. Not even sure if this is GameFAQs legal but a dog in pain takes precedence.

If I have the money I'm going to help out. If someone knocked on my door and could prove the whole scenario and I had the money, well, that'd be even better. If ten people in one week could prove beyond a shadow of a doubt they needed the money for such a thing and I had it, well, that's fine too.

You can see names and how much people donated.

People can choose to have their name anonymous.
And some people chose to have the amount they donated anonymous? How does that work?

Couldn't we just subract all the other donations and figure out how much was donated on anonymous amounts?


edit: which means between the 7 people with "anonymous" donation totals they provided 295. I just don't understand the point of hiding the total though when you can show the total and hide your name if you want.
