Isnt broadway a term for when a match goes the (unspoken 1 hour) time limit?

When is the last time a major fed had a match go broadway?

besides ironman matches, probably a while

broadways were only really a thing when the NWA champ was still traveling from territory to territory to defend the belt against that fed's top guy

time limit draw is the best way to have the champ retain but still make your guy look like a million bucks

Are we counting ROH? Aries vs. Black at Final Battle '09 went Broadway (and practically KILLED Tyler's fan support in the process).

yeah ROH has done it a few times but i wasn't counting them

i don't think they would do it (a full hour at least, maybe 30 mins) on ippv

Well WWE hasn't done one since at least the Backlund Era.

Aside from Royal Rumbles and Iron Man Matches, Cena vs. HBK is the longest match in televised WWE history.

No, probably not a good thing if you are a Brett fan: See, the whole point of that match was that in kayfabe, Shawn was better than Brett, and Brett could not put him away. Brett could have had him in that SHarpshooter for 5 more minutes and Shawn was not tapping. He would have eventuLky got out of it too (breaking another Brett thing along the way). It ended the best way possible for Brett. Who in the world (besides that ****ing piece of **** Cena, and then hunter and Taker) took multiple SCM to put down. And Brett did it after an hour long match

Anyway, I miss when I got more wrestling here.

It's now been over a year since either ROH or CHIKARA has come to town, and neither has a return date in sight.

TNA hasn't been here since Slammiversary 2009.

All I'm left with is local indies and semi-annual WWE visits.

Well, until DGUSA makes their local debut next month.

Tara responds to Ken Doane's insinuation that she was one of the Divas John Cena cheated on his wife with:

"On a personal level, what KD said was mostly false, although there was a little truth. I have been with my husband for 20 years. He's the best guy in the world. But like any 20 year relationship, we have some good times and we have had some bad times. And anyone who I traveled with knows that. Because you learn intimate details about each other whether you want to or not. We have separated a few times. One of those times that we were separated, I dated John for about a month. It was not in 2006 or 2007. It was in 2002. It was when we were both in Louisville. I was married but separated. John was single. I was never his 'road girlfriend'. I know that when we were separated, my husband also dated a couple girls. That's what happens when you are separated. In 2002, it was common knowledge that John and I dated. It fed the rumor mills for people who have nothing better to do than gossip like old ladies. So for KD to use bits of information that he was only able to pick up because he was allowed in the inner circle of WWE, and smear me, when I only treated KD with respect, over an incident that he is upset about from 5 years ago, tells me that he didn't learn anything about 'backstage politics' and how it relates to being a decent human being."

From today's WWE.com interview with Cena on his 10-year anniversary:

"I know the number 16 [Ric Flair’s total of World Championship reigns] is put on a pedestal, and I’m quite a ways away from that. But that would be something to shoot for. And when or if 16 happens, or number 17 happens, then 20 becomes the number to shoot for. That’s what I love about doing this."

In terms of wrestling venues and locations, NC got Over the Limit this year (and it's now a rarity for us to get anything since WCW folded).

Considering OtL had a good under/mid card and a hilariously bad main event, I can't determine whether or not us getting OtL was a good thing.

Does the liqour basket follow the same rules as any title during a match?

Like in a triple threat match, does the Liqour Basket champ need to be pinned to lose the basket?

Or it has been held up and will be decided in the triple threat, due to the lack of a conclusive finish.

No, he made zero physical contact with either of them. He didn't do anything that would allow him to take a hypothetical liquor basket. Had he gone down to the ring and Brogue Kick'd both of them, for example, he would have won the basket, but he did not.

Ziggler and Del Rio tied the segment, both damaged each other and neither stood tall, so Del Rio retains it.

One more thing, Liquor Basket title can change hands via DQ or Countout, but only in singles matches. In a tag-team match, the champion must be pinned or made to submit.
