For some motivation let's take a look at a few VNs that are coming out soon:
Akabeisoft making up for their previous failures with giant robots - Akabeisoft making up for their previous failures with Kakihara Tetsuya(Top tier VA, I had no idea he did VNs) - The next amazing Liar-Soft VN lol - GUILTY CROWN: LOST CHRISTMAS the greatest of all things ever -
Anyway I started Shin Megami Tensei for practice but it has no kanji so it's not all that helpful. It's less annoying than it was at first now that I'm used to everything being in hiragana. (Except for the American soldiers who switch it up and use katakana just to annoy me) I should probably get back to Alternative soon.
Oh god I played the Idolmaster 2 trial. I'm pretty sure that 1gb was like 99.8% audio variations even though there were only like three brief scenes.
Text auto-read and there wasn't any way to stop it that I could find. That meant it didn't really have much value for learning new words, but it was still decent for practice. While the narration tended to be a bit rushed, dialogue was easy to follow thanks to the glorious kanji + voices combination. Location names were terrible as always, and made even worse when I was forced to pick somewhere on a map of Japan.
Anyway it kinda goes without saying that I'm not going to buy the full version. Not that I would anyway who plays sequels without playing the original.
Hey Lopen you should play Rance. It's short(I started it on the 26th and already finished), has gameplay, and dialogue comes in a ton of short bursts meaning you won't get bored thinking 'oh god when will this end'.
Or something else with gameplay, maybe even an untranslated Fire Emblem. Just, y'know, something to actually get you doing stuff in the language.
Fine. Fine. I'll prevent this from dying this once even though I have no update yet aside from "still hovering around 400" (also uh, yeah, maybe. I've always sorta wanted to play FE4 I guess)
-- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
Well 'maybe' is more than I expected out of you so I'll have to settle for it I guess.
But a dude on LL just got F/SN, Muv-Luv, yuri ghosts, and one of the Akabeisoft games I mentioned in the OP after being told to only once. Why can't you be as cooperative when you already know a lot more kanji jeeze.
