The music in Vol. 9 is great. I particularly like the new version of "I'm a Member of the Midnight Crew".
Also, I noticed that there is at least one free song on this album already. Skipped over listening to it but thought it was interesting that it is free already.

Yeah, not all of the things Radiation posted on his tumblr make it to an album, unfortunately. The Lord English strife theme is another one that is sadly missed. It makes sense that it wasn't completed, since a direct fight isn't really going to solve anything from a story standpoint, but it was still a great song regardless.
Edit: For those that never heard it, this is what I'm talking about:
From: Ed Bellis | #020 I don't want the notifier. I'm fine with checking it throughout the day. This topic often serves as a notifier - if I see a spike in posts, odds are there's an update.

Holy ****. Dogfight owns. Also the full version of A Taste of Adventure is pretty good from what I've heard so far. My only regret is that I'm near the end of the album now.

I finally believe it. This is not butter. And I know deep down in my heart that I must become butter atheist.
That's what people say about every album when they come out. Some people get way too giddy and -EXCIT-ED and momentarily forget their critical judgement.

You'll come around.
Eh, I never really think of the new releases as "The best album" but I think this along with Volume 7 are at the top of my list. This is all subjective though, so really who gives a ****.

You know I just realized that one song that Radiation teased at the very end of Descend and quoted heavily in Umbral Ultimatum STILL doesn't exist.
...he's never going to release that track, is he? .......or the full version of Spider's Claw?
From what I've heard, that bit at the end of Descend was never a song in the first place and Andrew asked him to make a full version for Jade: Enter, so Umbral Ultimatum IS the full version.
I've had a listen to the new version of I'm A Member of the Midnight Crew, GameGrl, and Crystalmethequins, but I'll need to wait until a bit later before I can give the album a full play through.

I could have sworn he mentioned it on his blog and even gave it a name at one point but I couldn't find it under the "music" tag and I'm sure not wading through 100 pages of Radiation rambling. Maybe I mistook it for something else but I was pretty sure when Umbral Ultimatum came out people assumed it was the full version and Radiation said no? Ugh I can't remember. Jesus H. Dick, Jade: Enter happened a little over a year and a half ago. :|
