That tends to happen. You get some people who want to ruin it for everyone else, then everyone just joins the "f*** this game" train. I vastly prefer it when people aren't going into it with some kind of agenda.

Some shocking picks in that round.

Literally Wingull > Charizard.

But Magikarp saved it imo. He wasn't in a single match in the entire top...25, I want to say? And then BANG. Murkrow beat Wooper, MAGIKARP appears. And at that point you just can't help but vote Magikarp.

But yeah a lot of reaaalllly trash picks, but they came early at least. My last top 20 to go down was Rhyperior, basically everything else I lost with at least a couple of hundred to go. After that I just had fun with it.

And I got to eliminate Ludicolo. It was very cathartic.

I agree that it's all in good fun but people "spoiling" kind of sucks, to be honest. That said, I don't think much went on in that game.

And might I add, my Ludicolo pick wasn't even in revenge - I legitimately hate that whole family and it's in the bottom 10 somewhere. So even though there was an element of YES I GET TO TAKE REVENGE, I'd have voted Spinda (yes, SPINDA) over it any other time.

(also there's a reason Zard's design is "unoriginal"

It's because it's the best. Originality is what you look for when something else isn't working, when there's a NEED to innovate. you don't need to add bells and whistles to make Zard look good. It just flat-out is.)
