the problem was poor information. I've changed my plans now making it less intensive. Depending on how busy people are we'll determine a schedule for people to choose their investigation stuff and then they're nighttime locations, from there I'll write the story and you just have to make choices when prompted. I don't mind if it takes awhile, it just gives me more time to think. I've still gotta finish writing the basic rules as well since I got pulled away for work. My break ends in a few minutes so I don't have the time right now, but I'll be sure to get to it soon.

it's perfectly possible that you won't have a battle or meet anyone during the nighttime session as well, which means you will have nothing to do, unless you want to send a PM saying you set a trap, mark a path etc.

OK here we go, if anyone else wants to drop out tell me now I don't want it happening after we start. With that said I'd like to start tomorrow if possible. I'll begin with a small excerpt for summoning, so any master who wants to nail down their appearance any more than they already have please send me a PM and I'd like some appearances for servants. I'll be doing this all at once and I'll make sure to write it in such a way that there are no clues, beyond basic appearance, as to the servant's identity.

Now that said. I trust you all read the tentative rules that Jeff posted. A few things to add. Your daily activity and your nightly searches are important, if you can try to get them in when you get up in the morning so I can write and post that day's story. Of course depending on how battles go, a single night could extend pretty far without much from the non-fighting servants. Whenever you have to make a choice on what to do, try to decide promptly and send a PM, but don't rush it. I don't want anyone knocked out on the first day, that's just boring. when two servants start fighting, you don't have to fight to the end. You're free to attempt an escape if that'll best suit your situation.

Now then, when you want to spend your daily activity at the library researching other servants, you can start a chat with me on AIM if you have it. You can reach me with [email protected]. otherwise we'll slowly research using PM chains. I don't mind if daily activity research extends into the night that I've already started, if, for example, you're stuck doing something unexpected and had no time to get on during the day.

I'll do my best to write your characters but if you don't like the characters language, actions etc. then let me know and I'll fix it up right away.

a couple of things I forgot. Appearance only, I'm not writing a servant with an accident, as you recall from fate all servants had normal japanese speaking abilities (Other than Berserker). Secondly, don't describe the noble phantasm's those are for me to design.

... That's pretty stupid. In the first place, what exactly is 'normal japanese speaking ability'? Are you implying that there is only one way to speak Japanese and all other dialects are abnormal? Is that really what you're saying? Second, unless you're intending to write in Japanese, which I think would be a little inconvenient for everyone, it doesn't matter because it's assumed that you're taking some liberties in order to translate. Therefore, non-Japanese accents are perfectly acceptable in order to approximate things that are lost in translation. And as for not describing the Noble Phantasm, as long as it sticks within the border of what you already described in the sheet, I'm not sure what the point is.

that's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying that in fate every servant spoke Japanese, despite the fact that more than half of them were from Greece. I never said I'd write in Japanese in this case every servant speaks english. also none of the servants had any form of accent, they may have made certain language choices but none of them had a hard and fast dialect. And I choose not to write those because 1) I'm terrible at writing accents and 2) It's just annoying.

I've been getting some questions, so I'm gonna push the starting back, I'd like to wait till Jeff gets back anyways so he can proof-read my stuff and make sure it makes sense (So I can avoid the problem I had with Sceptile earlier). Nah, this is more like the Grail War that Shake tried to run that never got off the ground because he disappeared. Or the B8/Stay Night CYOA that Ed Bellis started but lost interest in after a few chapters. Incidentally...I was the Master of Lancer in that project too...Hopefully this doesn't suffer the same fate!
