What kills me the most is that the Dutch don't look...exciting. Even when they lose they carry a beautiful flair on the pitch. They make football fit the beautiful game moniker. This Dutch team looks joyless.

Too relaxed from the Dutch, both in attack and defence. Shaky start (and defending, especially the goalie's schoolboy pass) from the Danes, but they looked solid in midfield and on the wings during the last 20 minutes. Sticking with my draw prediction though.

Johnathan Pearce seems to have a strong distaste of Bendtner.
My favourite comment being something like "Hunterlaar has scored 22 goals for club and country this season. Bendtner can only hope to score that much."

And Hunterlaar needs to come on. Christ knows Robben and RVP are not going to score today.

Could very well have been a penalty, Denmark can count itself somewhat lucky.

We have been lucky here and there, but I really hope people wont just call this luck and Netherlands flopping but also regonized Denmark played good for once!

Denmark did what it had to do, but you can't dismiss all those clearcut chances! Denmark's defence will be tested again against Germany and Portugal and I don't have high hopes for them tbh. Though they did finish first in their group against Portugal, so who knows.
I see that both of them won one match head to head. How did those matches go?

We won 2-1 against Portugal, they won 3-1 against us. In the match they won they were clearly dominating, only reason they didn't get more than 3 goals was because we changed goalkeeper after the first couldn't play and apparently the one we switched him with was incredibly good.

We have dealt with Portugal in the qualifying of both the last WC and Euro, and both times we've been 1st place and they've advanced through play-offs, though I tihnk we've won the same amount of matches against each other. I can see that going both ways. Germany will kill us.

Yeah, Germany should destroy all three teams here barring another upset tonight. I can't see them lose to any of the other two teams after this match. Portugal-Denmark will be a key match then.
